I think, there is still time to build an utopia allowing us to share The Earth.

Gaia Luna is an eco friendly site, where nature and art are a "must". At the beggining it was a jungle in the mountains of old olive trees, some small wooden shelters and an old "retirage" : a small stone house used by farmers and their animals during summer as a shelter near their workplace. It was abandoned after the Second World War and later, in the early 60's served a family as a weekend home.

I acquired it in 2006 without doors or windows and with the roof in poor condition. It was nearly impossible to walk about, as nature had taken over. I gave myself the task of renovating it in order to accommodate my family whilst preserving as much as possible of the existing buildings. As I studied Decoration and Interior Design in London, I wanted a site that would just mould-in the environment, an eco friendly one. Today it is done, we live happily in this place in the middle of nature and with the most stunning views! We receive workawayers most of the year, we teach several masterclasses concerning arts and ecology, we also host artists in residence...

In Gaia Luna is possible to buy the water plants that will help you create a natural bathing pool or pond, or even a purifying system like ours.

We also sell herb plants for teas. As we cultivate the olive tree, we transform it and make baskets with the branches, home-made laundry detergent with the ashes, soaps, balms, creams and much more with the olive oil.

Jenny works in the middle of the wonderful nature of the Alps, surrounded by olive trees. She creates her own world of canvas, glass sculptures and lamps, wood and gem stones...

Discover Gaia Luna throughout the year, fill up yourselves with nature in the Maritime Alps, far from the noise of the city, close to the Parc du Mercantour and  the French Riviera.
